How I Tried again and gained success
I'm going to give you a story of how I gained success in my lifed by trying again. It was three years ago when I was trying out for the basketball team. I was thinking that I got it, this is going to be easy, no problem. But then, ... I failed! I was so hurt that a couple of tears rolled down my eyes and I just sat in the room and wondered what was the problem. The next day at school I was looking online cause I had nothing else to do. I looked at Lebron James Biography on wikipedia. I was just amazed at what he did in high school. It just blows me away a that a freshmen averaging 20 points a game and winning a state championship. Ideas start to go through my head and the ideas were saying, what if I can do this? So later that night I sat in my room for some hours just researching and getting excited on writing my plan to get there. That weekend I woke and put the written plan to work. I ran laps. I worked on defensive drills. I shot 300 shots and I lifted weights. After that first day I seen major improvement on my game. I continued to keep working at it. Then I would test it out in gym class. I usually only score 6 points. After a month of practice, I hit 22 points in gym class and I was truely excited. The next week I hit 32 points in gym class! The next moment that had me excited was when I had 5 rebounds 5 assists and 40 points in gym class. I saw when keep working hard at something and believing in it, it will happen and you will definately love the reward that comes out of it. Now this is when the test finally came is when basketball try outs came. First day cut, I made the team. Second day cut, I made the team. Last day cut, I made the team. Not only was I going to play but I was going to start! I had quit though. I just wanted to prove a point that if you keep trying, you will succeed and thats my story for today about Trying again.
